How to Play Anvesha: Forensic Mystery Gameplay
A quiet, methodical investigation framework. No timers, no point-and-click pixel hunts, and no spoiler hand-holding.
1. The Four-Stage Investigation Loop
Anvesha is designed around realistic forensic deduction. You do not solve cases by guessing combinations or finding hidden keys under rugs. Every investigation follows a structured four-stage cycle:
Examine Physical Evidence
Inspect high-resolution photographs, legal affidavits, and forensic reports. Locked records require specific clues or corroborated insights to unlock.
Interrogate Witnesses
Confront suspects with verified facts. Inquire into timelines, relationships, and inconsistencies using natural language interrogation.
Mystery Board Synthesis
Pin exhibits, connect threads between suspects, and record notes on the investigative corkboard to map motives and alibis.
Four-Part Reconstruction
Accuse the perpetrator, establish the motive, present corroborating evidence, and reconcile the complete sequence of events.
2. Freeform Witness Interrogation
Unlike traditional adventure games with fixed dialogue trees, Anvesha features dynamic, in-character witness examination. Each suspect maintains their personality, knowledge boundaries, and legal rights. They will only admit to facts when confronted with physical proof or documented inconsistencies.
3. Featured Public Cases
Begin your investigation immediately in any of our published dossiers:
- The Blackwood Inheritance — Highwood Manor, 1894. A wealthy industrialist dies under suspicious circumstances in a locked study.
- The Ulsoor Last Cue — Bengaluru, present day. A blackout at an intimate black-box theatre leaves an ambitious lighting designer murdered backstage.
